Countertops

Laminate

Laminate countertops are made from layers of plastic that are bonded to particleboard to create a solid countertop surface. They are inexpensive and come in a huge selection of colors.

A small black line is visible on light colors with a square edge profile.

Laminate counters can scratch easily, so don't use them as cutting boards. The high glosses and solid colors show scratches easily. Also, avoid placing hot items directly onto the countertop to prevent damage. Easy to clean, wipe with a mild cleaner and a soft cloth.
